Subtitles

I use dvd2svcd with cinema craft encoder 2.5 for ripping dvd's
but i don't see subtitles when i watch the svcd
permanent subtitles is on in dvd2svcd, with tmpeg there is no problem!! can anybody help me??

Waht software are you using to play the movie or are you refereing to your DVD Player?

Did you check through your dvd2svcd_log.txt file to see if the subtitles were actully ripped and muxed?

I use powerdvd on my computer and i don't refer to my standalone dvdplayer. Dvd2svcd ripped the subtitles, but i wasn't burned on the cd. Permanent subtitles was on in dvd2svcd. It also showed at the beginning the screen of the substitles (a preview in dvd2svcd) With tmpeg i have never had this problem but that takes a lot of time when you use the best quality.

dan moet je wel een dvd nemen met ondertiteling...edited by -=[r]=- flaming is not allowed here!!
