Stomp RecordNow DX

I was lucky and got it..:)
It seems to be the same as the 4.10 but as I haven´t checked it all out I can´t say for sure. However it´s wort waiting for if it get available on the main site. And no matter what was claimed in the wiped thread it seems to be the full version with DLA included.

I have it by now too, it is not from stompinc but from the EU branch of Veritas (named CIS), it does have DLA 3.28 included, and for my life I cannot see ANY real difference from version 4.10- which means that its still a great app.
Agree..I have used it for some time, a replacement for Nero, and IMO it´s a very good burning program.
I noticed the new release name and it seems this version is not yet released at Stomp.

One difference I noticed is that my burner is now supported (Lite-On 48125W) which it wasn't in the 4.10 release.

At last I can use a DECENT recording S/W and finally bin Nero :)

One problem I have encountered is that when I install DLA 3.28 my PC goes into a reboot lock - it basically starts and as soon as DLA loads into memory the PC reboots itself. Dunno why, 2.5 worked a treat. Any thoughts?

It sounds as the install isn´t finished. Try and un-install and do a new clean install. Then when asked to re-boot select NO. Finally re-boot manually.
Don´t know if this solve the problem but I have experienced this problem with other apps and a manual re-boot fixed it. I never let the installer perform boot on any occasion..allways do it manually.

I'm in the process of checking this program as well now that it supports my burner, a Plextor PX-W48x24x48A. Is it normal to only display Max, Mild, and Min for burn speeds? Usally you get 4x or 8x and so on. All I get is Max, Mild, and Min. I would prefer to choose a specific number. Weird???

Madmax, it seems to be a feature of Plexy's Powerec- as the burner uses only CAV burning mode you should let it choose the burning speed itself and the burn will be fine (hopefully).
Thanks pokopiko, Yeah all my burns have come out just fine. I just thought it was rather unusual that I couldn't choose an actual burn speed. All is Cool. :D :D :D

Thx for the tip about my system gonig into reboot mode.

@Poko - I originally tested the install on a clean machine without any CDR apps but it kept running the loop reboot mode.

@LaZorMan - I'll give that a try later...too much to do at the moment.

If that doesn't work, I'll stick with good old NTI FileCD ;)

Thx guys :)
