Anyone use this yet on a Lite-on (Cendyne) 52246s? I do not see the drive listed on the Stomp site. Although that does NOT mean it will not work as the other Lite-on's are there.

It will not work if it's not listed. Backup Exec drivers are quite strict.

That is bad news. I had thought that I had a drive before that I used where it had not been listed. It may have even been my 24102b before it showed on their list. Actually, most of the Lite-on's are there...maybe they just did not test the 52x yet.

Well, I guess this is a case where they did not test it yet as it DID work fine with my Cendyne (Lite-on) LTR-52246S. I did get a format error but had to shut down that Roxio drag and drop thingie.

That's a good thing, but check if the burned data are reliable (verify etc).

Yes I did a restore of a few files.

BTW, my format failed at first. I then turned off the Roxio drag to cd I was trying (Roxio 6) and then the Backup MYPC formatted ok!

DirectCD locks the drive when a RW is inserted, so you will have to shut it down before using it with another application.

Well, I am about to put the 52246S in my other system without Roxio anything! Just CCD and Nero...no packet writing. I will verify that the problem was the other system.

May update Nero, too. Other system has 5.5.10.15a, this one has 5.5.8.2.
