It is possible (and recommended) but not essential, to dump the 2915 files on top of an existing installation, but you will not need to in order to get full functionality of the program - it just means that you need to create your program shortcuts manually, and that you need to find DVD player software (for the *optional* preview function to work within the Maestro program's internal interface) somewhere else.
If you need to use the so-called "RealView" function, as mentioned above, you need to find Ravisent CineMASTER 2000 DVD player+ codecs - NOT Ravisent Cineplayer.
I must stress again - this only OPTIONAL, so don't get yourself worked up about it if you can't find these files - Maestro will still author perfectly well
