Speed ripping decrease

Hello!!

I've started doing some cd ripping to mp3 using audiograbber whit lame codec....
The quality is good but sometimes in the middle of the mp3 track comes a strange sound which i think it's related with the elevated speed ripping of my cd (HP 9500)..
I would like to know how can i derease the speed ripping (32x is the default one) of my cdr to do better ripping....
I have also a pionner dvd 16-40 but i don't use it because i think it isn't as good ripper as the hp...

So... How can i increase the quality pf my mp3 ripped tracks???

Thanks

thank's for your help....

I've just started ripping whit the EAC and is very great and much more complete that the audiograbber... i will only use the EAC nhow....
About the "security" options where can i select them and which are the most important for real quality??

Thank's....

Go there and get eac tutorial. When you learn that, you will know more:)

MR. Poko is right like always!

Just to add that;check those 3 options, and check them only if drive if supports so.Also, very important is offset for ripping.DONOT JUST COMPARE YOUR CD WITH CDS ON NOTEPAD FROM DOCUMENTACION(could be and is very possible that is a different edition)put cd in drive and you gonna find out that cd is in their database or not, read offset is enough for now:) When you got justto eac you could write offset cd for future, makes it easier--some people saying(for me is easier to put new value in readbox, cose i got 3 cds which are in database--so its a 2 minute proces if i bying new drive):)
