sp2 Question

Im running xp pro with
sevice pack 1
xp auto patcher
and
service pack 2
Question is if I need to reinstall windows would installing
service pack 2 itself be enough to install all needed security
updates or would I need to do
as I did above

You shouldn't have to, as SP2 will have all the security updates, patches, etc that came in SP1, plus all the post SP1 updates up till when it was released to the public.

However, remember that SP2 is still in beta and is not final... so they are still tweaking this service pack. So the more recent updates (several last week) will not be there. These will be if SP2 final though.
