Sound problems on dvd player but not on PC

I used dub-dvd to burn a svcd. It plays fine on my pc but when I play it on my dvd player the sound is 4 secs behind the video. Where is this problem? Could it be my dvd player or dub-dvd? Any suggestions would be great.

Have u tried any other SVCD on your player?
What Player(standalone) r u using?

I got a GE model 1101P DVD player. It supports svcd. I've only tried the (3) dvds that I ripped.

I can only recommend using The dvd2svcd tutorial by chickenman which is posted on this forum.
Btw a lot of players that say they can play svcd either cant or they can only play them with errors.
I'm not saying this is the case with yours though!
I'm not familiar with dub-dvd. Do you mean dup-dvd?

Dup-DVD is the bigest marketing con program around. Its output is absolute utter crap and I get amazed everyday by people that continue to try and use this program.

gritts, all I can suggest is you follow daveml and joripes advice.
