I have the same problem, used dvddecrypter, dvd2avi, can get no sound but if I play the vobs directly on my hard drive with power dvd it works okay. I checked the audio address in the vobb which was 0x80, correct. I think when you compress from the vobb theirs a trick we dont know about yet to get the audio working, synchronized, and increased volume level.

@thehulky, On the audio dropdown in dvd2avi have you selected a track? If you have is it also set to demux (seperate audio)?

Sony dvd players are very choosy with what they play, and Nero does not compile to a true dvd standard.

I would use another program to burn your dvd's first, maybe RecordNowMax or Primo dvd.
