Sound is not sincronized

Hi, I have added subtitles with VirtualDub and the new avi file has the sound not sincronied. I have used the Direct Stream Copy, so I don't understand.
Any ideas? Thanks!!

i think your problem exists already in the original file (displaced audio), so it appears when editing;
you can correct the delay in Virtal Dub's "Audio Interleaving Options";
