sound for vcdand svcd

hi can anyone tell me what sound setting to use to make a vcd or an svcd made one from an avi to vcd yhe sond was out of sink and best soft where to get to do it thanks!!!!!

If you follow either of the tutorials (DivX to VCD or the DivX to SVCD), both will Normalize the sound volume for you. Read the guides, its all in there.

As for out of sync, convert them to (S)VCD and then read the "How to fix A/V Sync problems" tutorial. Its all explained in there.
