I just bought the new sony DW-U10A and it burns all dvd formats.DVD-R,RW--DVD+R,RW.I also overpaid 100. bucks for it.

I bought a Pioneer 106D that does all 4 DVD+-R/RW formats at 2x and 4x, and with the new firmware hack allows even cheap media burns at speed, plus reads at 12x for my storebought DVDs as well. Paid $190 for it.

The only thing about the Pioneers I dont like is that they take considerably longer to burn a dvd since they check the data being written as it burns.
