*1 The DVD-R to corresponds to the entry of the disk which conforms the " DVD-R for General Ver.2.0 ". In addition entry of the maximum of 4 time speed only is possible with the " DVD-R for General Version 2.0/4x-SPEED DVD-R Revision 1.0 corresponding disk ". Until recently in case of the disk it becomes the maximum of 2 time speed.
*2 The DVD-RW to corresponds to the entry of the disk which conforms the " DVD-RW Ver.1.1 ". In addition entry of the maximum of 2 time speed only is possible with the " DVD-RW Version 1.1/2x-SPEED DVD-RW Revision 1.0 corresponding disk ". Until recently in case of the disk it becomes largest identical-dimensioned speed.
*3 As for entry above the CD-RW 8 time speed, please use the CD-RW High Speed corresponding disk. In case of the High Speed non- corresponding disk, entry speed becomes the maximum of 4 time speed.
*4 Reading the maximum of 6 time speed is adapted to only the high-speed entry corresponding disk. Until recently in case of the disk it becomes the maximum of 2 time speed.
*5 You can use the Click to DVD, with only the Windows XP Professional/Windows XP Home Edition on-board model.
*6 You can use the Simple DVD Maker/TMPGEnc DVD Source Creatore for VAIO, with only the Windows XP Professional/Windows XP Home Edition/Widows 2000 Professional on-board model.

* Record with the DVD video format is possible in the DVD-R/RW. It does not correspond to the record with video recording standard. Using the DVD-RW disk, when it made the DVD, it cannot play back with the DVD player who does not correspond to the DVD-RW.
* As for the DVD-ROM and the DVD video where setting of duplication failure is done, it is not possible to draw up backup.
