SONY DRU-500A error with CD+RW media

Hi,

I'm having a trouble trying to burn the CD+RW that comes with the Sony 500. An error appears when I try to record something...
With CD-R media is working fine.
I have the latest firmware 1.0f, and tryed with 3 different burning programs (DiskJuggler, Nero and RecordNowMax).

Hi,

I'm still on firmware 1.0c, but I have no problems at all! Maybe you can try downgrading to 1.0e (it's on the forum, but I do not know if downgrading works).

I've learned here that 1.0f is not too good. Maybe you can try?

Well, I resolved the problem without downgrading the firmware...

I had to change it to my primary IDE controler.
