SONY DRU-500A and NERO!!??

why cant i use my sony dru-500a with nero????
also can you also tell my where i can get the guides to burn back up dvds using record now(as i only know how to use nero!!

My DRU500A works perfectly with it,can you be a bit more specific about your problems ?

Hi i have the same problem,Nero does not support SONY DVD the only way is to use or recordnow or discjugler or winondvd 6.0

I do not know but me and a friend of mine use nero 55100 and both does not work!!!
Yesterday i used WINONDVD and works perfect but till now i was using RECORDNOW max!!
which version do you use?

what nero version do i need????

55100 is buggy as hell,lots of problems.Try 55917,should work with the Sony. Using it with my Pioneer A05.

Most people prefer RecordNow max.BTW.

RecordnowMax is preferred for PS2.There are tutorials in the gaming section,using this software.

WinOnDVD... I think its that great, bug-free application which recognizes 7 out of 10 blank CDR media as able to handle two seconds of data, right?

Thanks again i checked the tutorials in the gaming section and is the same way as i use it, i only asked you because i have many back up and yesterday that i tried to burn back a game for PC WORMS2 it did not work But any other image that i tried it worked and i asked if it is good soft or not!!

i should of keept my A04 or got an A05 i dont like this sony dru-500a(apart from the fact it can also burn DVD+R/W)
but what the hell would i use DVD+R/W for???
they even cost more then DVD-R media!
also why do you say nero 55100 is to buggy???

I say Nero 5510 is buggy because people are having lots of trouble with it.Disappearing drives,bad burns,etc.many people are having trouble,again.

Nero released a new version today,maybe it is better.

Try a Google search if you want 59917. It is no longer available from Ahead.

Sorry DVD but if you go to Nero Homepage you can download a update/demo which is @ version 55.10.0 . version 55.10.7 is now out but homepage has not been updated!

DRU-500 is several ages ahead the overhyped A-05... I just wish I could find it/buy it, I just find crappy A-05's which I simply refuse to put in my portfolio.

@DVD,if that version works for you,keep it. Ifoedit is available at Doom 9.RecordNow is available as a demo from Stomp software.
