Sony DRU-500 & Studio 8

I have a Sony DRU-500A and Studio 8. I have created a great video of my parents wedding anniversary, but Studio 8 does not work with the Sony. Pinnacle has not responded back to me to let me know if they will ever work with the DRU-500A.
Is there another way to do this?

Some options I have thought of:

a. Create the output to disk and then use the Sony software to burn it? I would want to preserve the chapter function. (I just thought of this but not sure it will work).

b. Get new software that has the functionality of Studio 8 that does work with my Sony.

c. Get a new DVD burner.

I like the Sony because it does the DVD+RW as well as other formats.

Could you be more specific in exactly what problem you are experiencing with Pinnacle Studio version 8 and your Sony DRU-500A. Could you please provide detailed amplifying information so that forum members will be able to help you with your problem.

I have a Sony DRU-500AX and have successfully used Pinnacle Studio version 8 and have not experienced any problems.

yep here to i have used a DRU-500A with studio 8, try uninstalling it and reloading in again, make sure you download the update for it, caus Studio 8 has been buggy for me on occasions
