Sonic RecordNow software

I am having great trouble trying to use this software. I am trying to copy a non-copywrite protected DVD but however I try it will not recognixe by DVD rewriter (Drive E). I know it works as it is fine with other software. Has anyone got any idea where I am going wrong? Does anyone know how to use this software properly. It's driving me nuts!!!

wat version r u running?4.5 or 6.x +?as suggested by scarecrow,is ur burner in compatibility list?
go try get the latest px engine(507 i think),there's a link somewhere on the forum,use the search button ;)
moreover,could u elaborate a bit more?os ,dvd burner brand ...?

The latest update, presumably for Plextor drives - date of file in archive is 10/05/2004 (10th May) - not sure if it'll do anything for you if it's not a Plextor, or what version you'll actually get (anyone brave enough?)

This thing is a firmware flasher for Plextor drives, so not terribly useful for that particular case... I don't think that Plextor will ever get involved with RecordNow- something.

Oh, it's just a goofy entry on cdrinfo... so I can see why this confusion.
They are wrong, it's not a pxengine update, but an updated firmware flasher for Plextors... I do have 3 Plextors at home, one at full duty and 2 picking dust.
Actually this cdrinfo download page is awfully outdated, eg they offer pxengine 390 while the current (= four months old) one is 507...
