No demo I can find either but have heard whispers it's not too good now Sonic have their mucky paws on it though.

Hope that is wrong...................

This is most ridiculous: I bought recordnow from the sonic estore & guess what??? The serial number i was given does not work! I've email their customer service/support people, but still no responses. The install file is only slightly bigger than RMX :)

...but it can't burn ISOs!

RecordNow is useless if you want to burn an existing ISO image onto a CDRW. Guess what it does? - IT BURNS THE ISO IMAGE AS A FILE! So you end up with a disk containing one file - the ISO image. Now how brain-dead is that? Can anyone suggest a program I can use (on XP) that actually can burn ISO images? RecordNow came preinstalled on the computer, version 6.5.0.

Welcome bjornsol. I like Alcohol 120% either by using the copy wizard or using the virtual drive and burning it cd to cd. Try it and let us know how you make out. :)

This thread looks to be pretty old, but I've been struggling with this problem today and Google led me here. Maybe it'll help the next guy to know: If you use the drag & drop interface to Sonic RecordNow 6.5 (as the initial post in this thread says) it handles ISO images correctly.

(But what the heck is a "bit budget"?)
:)

You must do something terribly wrong, cause here RecordNowMax 4.5 has no trouble at all burning .ISO images to CD or DVD.
Dunno about versions 6.X-7.X, and I do not want to know, either.
