Sonic Foundry Soft Encode Problem

I am using Windows ME, Pentium III 500MHZ, Creative Audigy Sound Card. My problem is with the Soft Encode. Sometimes, it works perfectly OK, but most of the time it encode only half way
through. Has anybody encountered the same problem i.e. encoding stops halfway. Anyway to rectify this problem?

Inside the options/preferences disable the option to save to temp peak files cache to disk.

I hope this solves your prob my friend!

A million thanks to you, landok. It really works like wonders!! No problem encoding after I disable that option. Actually, I am using Soft encode to use together with TMPGEnc 2.58 to mux the video and audio files to a compatibile Program stream to be used for DVD video disc. I have tried Digigram Multichannel Dolby Digital encoder to encode ac3 files to be used in TMPGEnc 2.58 to mux with the elementary video files. But what I get is TMPGEnc refused to accept any encoded ac3 files from Digigram. Only Soft Encode have no problem. I do not know the reason why Digigram encoded ac3 files are not compatible MPEG stream files in TMPGEnc. Anyway, thanks a lot. You have solved my problem.
