There's a file somewhere in this forum, ASPI32 4.6. Try it. Forceaspi didn't work on mine either. Tried installing, killing, etc., didn't work.

i click on "instaspi.bat" only to get a messege that says "cannot import win9x / win9x.reg:error opeining the file: there may be a disk or file error" *sigh* :(
Did you extraxt ForceASPI completely before running InstASPI? Or did you double click InstASPI inside in the unextracted archiv? You have to extract the whole package content to HDD before running InstASPI.

beside these facts the proper sequencing would be:
1. close all running programs, AV too
2. DumpASPI
3. KillASPI
4. InstASPI
5. reboot
