I uploaded making waves3.2d,emagic logic audio5.3.0.and waves restoration bundle3.5(this is a must for everybody).....go to w*w.filesanywhere login with ***(password is ****)and is there......everything is from one private site(all credits to them)......If the files are not good too bad!!!!

We had a similar problem a while back with Wzor accounts being hammerd :(

Risking your own account (zv**/zv***) is probably reasonable, risking one that doesn't belong to you WOULD be rather unsavoury

I am right, I presume, in assuming that the stuff is what YOU uploaded to filestore site - and NOT a leech off the source site?
And THAT login is required to access the fileshare you set up.

@zver im not going to get into a huge heated debate here bud i edited your post which you re-edited again later (Last edited by zver on 10-14-2002 at 04:13 PM) after i had already *** out the password and user name you put there when you posted originally @ ( 10-14- 2002 02:34 PM)

I am merely taking neccessary steps to a) prevent the server that has the software on going down due to abusive hammer and b) keep your good name with the site operator who was good enough to allow you an account there !!

What you have to realise is that the account originally set up by you will have logged YOUR ip with the server any abuse will be automatically traced back to its original source (same as posts here are IP logged!) for security measures !! ... so consider it as in Your favour here bud :)

dont understand..which account doesent belong to me????what did i take from somebody?????i took stuff from Bubba Zenetti`s wlr,downloaded and uploaded to free acount on files anywhere..didnt change the files or their names.....they are same as those files on that site....and i did that cosethat site is private(no access)so people cant get it even if i put the link.........so what is the problem>????????????

i opened that account...its a free one and everybody can get it there......i took stuff from somewhere and uploaded it there...cose people were asking for it.......btw dont give me favours anymore....

Ok folks lets not get into wars wit each other here.
ZVER wot VIPER_1069 is sayin is submittin your account details to a site is bound to hammer dat site, even dat your doin your best to help others here which is great. We all try to help if and when we can but we all have to B more careful.
So if we all can come to some agreement witout wot seems to mi as a mini war start up please end now...

So long as they don't take the site out and make it impossible for everyone else who has files there to get access to them.

Not having this site for a week was bad enough.

The users of that site could be pretty upset too...

It probably wouldn't happen,

but hey...
