TINRA (This Is Not Real Anymore ) should convert it to an audio-only AVI
http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Way/9629/avi2wav.htm - and AVI2WAV sould take that to a WAV (some AVI programs don't like audio only, this one does!)

As for sharing! - that'll only get you grief!
