Software for DivX. Any?

Any programs for viewing DivX movies on my PC without installing a lot of junks? I have used Nimo Codec Pack for the past year, but seems like it installed a lot of not so useful codecs for me.

Any better program out there? Thanks.

All software preferences are highly arguable, everything depends on so much considerations.
Being said that, after some research and try, these days I’m going by Bsplayer: is fine, unobtrusive, loaded and free (Google will find it for you).

But sometimes I get better audio Synch with the current DivX player. So I guess you have to try.

Also, the Media Player Classic is pretty good and just a small standalone app with no installation at all (get It here: http://forum.cdrsoft.cc/showthread.php?s=&threadid=16884&highlight=media+player+classic )

yes bsplayer is your best bet:

Nimo code pack is okay? How did you install anyway, full, basic or custom? I found that install as basic is the best but if you know what you need then you can use custom that way you don't have junks in your comp.

Nimo codec pack can be more trouble than its worth sometimes, specially if you select Full.

WinDVD plays your DivX movies just fine if you have the correct codecs for the DivX installed.

Would you mind telling me what's the minimum codec required for viewing DivX with Sound?

Thanks again.

As Chickenman says, if you use the nimo codepack dont choose full.
Some of the stuff conflicts with the others.
It caused m2edit to crash on opening for me which was a total disaster for me until I realised what was causing it.
Just pick the ones you need.
