Hi, my dvd-rom reads very bad, its laser lens or somewhat is a bit faulty.
I've readed an article "how to regenerate an old cdr"..........how? well, unmounting driver, operate on its laser trigger to modify the power of laser (cheking its starting point to return on it if your tries will be faulty), remount it on pc, test, if still reads bad re-do the previouses steps untill it reads correctly-better.
Because i'm too lazy, i'm wondering if there is a proggy that could do this via software...........like cpufsb that allow you to modify fsb speed via software.
