Wonder if anyone can help me on this one,
I am using smartripper to try and rip hollow man off dvd but it wont unlock some of the files for some reason, is there a way around this, i tried to unlock it by using win dvd but to no avail, i know there is not a problem with my ripper because i ripped another dvd 5 minutes later,
any suggestions such as a better ripper for instance????

Is your DVD ROM your using to read the DVD region free? Thats probably the problem.

But there are lots of good rippers (but none have all the features of Smartripper), I would recommend DVD Decyptor or CladDVD XP. A simple search at Google will find them for you.

If its region 2 then it should work no problem.
I've ripped it with smartripper myself.
Good advice from Chickenman. (as always).lol

I had the same problem make sure u have a update aspi layer and try rebooting your pc. Also you might try cleaning the dvd

Good point dark:
A reboot is always a good idea before doing any ripping or encoding.
Before u update the aspi layer try searching the forum.
The latest versions are not always the best choice.
