Hello , the link to get smart ripper is dead, it was this one.
It seems that the site does not longer exist.

... I'm translating tutorials in french, and I will post them, but I need good links ;-)

Yes that site seems to have 'evaporated", a good link for SmartRipper 2.41 is _http://www.doom9.org/software2.htm#rippers

Hoever the tutorial was updated a while back including a new d/l link.

Since you quote your translating it into French and going to post it on the Net, I would suggest you contact the original Author ( ME !) before you do.

yeah ... I 100% agree with chickenman ...cause u can´t take the hard work of cm and translate it + post it in public without permission .... !!

I just want to say that I'm translating this tutorial for myself, and it's not in my name, Ijust say "translated by ...." The name of the author is chickenman, and still chickenman.
If you want that I stop , ok I stop. If you're able to verify my translation in french, I'll send it to you.
