'Slow' writing with Nero

Hi,

Since Nero version 5.5.9.14 my CD writer writes at max 16 speed while the writes is a 32 speed writer. The CD-R's should be writtable until 48x.

Writer is ASUS 3212A.
CD-R's were tested very good in a German magazine.

Anybody ??

Just humour me

in your nero.....click -recorder-choose recorder-options- untick buffer under run see if this makes any difference?works with my 40x lite-on if i have it checked i can olny write upto 40x unchecked and 48x appears as if by magic.

But this doesnot explain why Nero 'thinks' it must write at a lower speed.

Problem solved.

The CDR's arent that good as stated in the magazine:

On the CD is pressed "48x"

When writing 16x is the max, while other CDR's can be written to on a higher speed.

Brand is Silver Circle.


Anybody wants to buy a 50 piece bundle ??
