If you have a dvd burner and a dvdrom is it posible to play the dvd and burn it at the same time like burning a music cd with dual drives. If so what kind of software would you need for it?

There ARE programs which can capture video from the screen, but they'd never be fast enough ... you'd drop a ton of frames, even on the fastes PC you can get now - and that's without counting re-encoding back to DVD as well!

With a decent enough PC, it can be used to capture a flash animation to video.

I was hoping it would be as simple as mashing play and record. Things are never so simple anymore.

in theory it is possible,but the change of ur burning disc becomes a coaster also increases

Surely it's simple enough with the tutorials here, and if you don't like the dvdrbase tutorials, try the dvdrhelp ones - and if you don't like either, PLEASE don't buy some spamvertised garbage which is probably freeware + shareware + stolen tutorials!
