is it possible for me to put my silent hill 2 pc game thats on three cd's to a single dvd disk if so how. it would make installing easier

I´ve done this with some games: copy the content of all discs to a folder, if it has duplicated files let them be replaced and when finished then burn the content of the folder to dvd-r.

The downside is that with this procedure if the game has a copy protection you won´t be able to play your game without using a "no cd" crack or something like that.

then 3 what then

Almost with every game that I´ve done this installs without asking for discs, the only one that didn´t worked that way had a browse button so I was able to point the location of the file.

it worked a treat allright, i did as you said copied all the disks files to a draw
then used nero bootable disk type,burned dvd then ejected then returned
it went straight to install screen and didnt ask for each disk just installed
although i had to patch game so it wouldnt ask for the disk one everytime i play it
