Setting up nero data cds?

Ok I can sent it up to a point but not really sure what any of the stuff means. Ok I want to burn a cd that the data has the same name as it is on my computer.

For Ex.

If i name a cd: Music Videos about monkeys and some other stuff

it would
come out: Music_Videos_about_monkeys_and_

31 Characters.

But I want it to come out the way i put in. Also If I had a file named:

Artist - nameofsong.mp3 on a data cd it would come out:

Artist_-_nameofsong.mp3

How do i fix this?

use Nero Classic not Express;
at the ISO settings choose:
- ISO Level 2
- Character Set: DOS
- enable Joliet

now you can use 64 characters and also spaces;

Greetings from

had this problem and sorted it by using "NTI" cd maker instead for long files using the ROMEO format of 128 characters and no editing is needed :)

Also VIPER NTI says that Romeo will only work with win 95? And i tryied to enter:

Sorority_Boys_(2002)_XViD.DEiTY.ShareReactor.avi

Which is only 46 Characters

the program wouldn't let me put that in as the name
Whats going on?

thanx Duracell that really helps alot. By nero Classic you mean the regular nero right?
yes, that's what i mean;

well Duracell Tryed what you said got 16 Chacters?
:eek: sorry, for me it works;

the "Joliet" option is responsible for 64 characters; your settings should be looking lite that:
