Well my copy of 2.5 comes up with these as defaults:

"anti-noice filter" - 6
"image quality priority" - 40

If source is DVD choose 0
else (f.e captured noisy VHS-Video) I choose a value between 6 and 25 but only for 4x3 Movies - anti-noice-filter is producing a terrible edge between black boarder and movie
