Serials2K strange problem...

I have used Serial2K for years now. But today when I launched the app it didn´t work. I can´t see any entries at all. I did a search but the result window remain empty. I uninstalled the app and did a clean reinstall but nothing seems to help. I can´t use it anymore.
NE1 have a clue to what caused this s**t??:confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

is it the latest version of the program? or older one that perhaps has expired for use.
Sometimes when people write up those programs, they put a timelimit for them.
Don't know, that's just my guess lol.

As far as I know it´s the latest version. I have used this app, as I said for years, and never had any problems. I hate this kind of failures that I can´t find a proper reason for...:)

Try to CHANGE/CLEAR the attributes of all the files & under-directories inside the s2k folder to non Hidden, non read-only!
(Don't run it from the CD)

perhaps you accidently deinstalled internet explorer or parts of but the program needs the support for "compiled html help files" (.CHM) that is included in ie since version 5
you could try to install a new ie, perhaps it helps

Well this is even more strange. Suddenly everything works again. Don´t know what was the problem in the first place but now it´s OK again....:confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:
