Scenarist multi angle help

Hi.

Is there anyone out there who can tell me how to make a basic multi angle DVD with scenarist??

I have shot some footage with 3 cameras and have edited it all to the same length, bit rate etc. All i need to know is how to create a menu with a button to run one of the cameras and enable the multi angle feature so the 3 angles can be switched between during playback.

Any help would be great.

You'd think by now, the commercial level apps like reeldvd would have a simple multiangle wizard where you choose how many angles you want and select the footage for each angle - how easy is that!?!

Anyway, thanks in advance

I cant even work out how to use it for 1 angle let alone 3 !

You guys should know something surely after all those posts lol.

Are there any DVD rippers out there that know?

I can rip standard DVDs etc and join flipper discs but i have never tried to do a multiangle disc and i know plenty of people have done the Star Wars discs.

To do those, surely you'd use scenarist and know how to set up multiangle. I'm not doing anything fancy here, i just have 3 camera angles of equal length of a 2 minute tutorial and i just want the user to be able to change the angle, just not sure how to go about it.

Thanks.........

Have a read at doom9 forum, they are advanced Scenarist uusers there http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=58255

Thanks, i looked there before, they have some good stuff but i cant post with hotmail or my student email account - any ideas what account to use - i dont have a normal one with my isp so are there others that would work?

All i need to know is how to lay it out, im not doing anything tricky. Since they are advanced users at doom9, they dont mention the laying out, just problems with modifying ifos etc.

Someone has to know!!!!!!!!!!

I thought in that thread they did explain it a bit more detail. As for email accounts, sorry I have no idea, I use my ISP provided one.

All I can suggest is to keep searching at doom9, if its not there, then its no where.

Select the PGC containing your 3 movie files, right click to edit.

Make up a sub image with example (Angle 1, Angle 2) in either Red, Green, Blue or Black or mix the RGB to a colour you want.

Drop the sub image into pane containing your angles, select the sub image and enter a start time code in the info pane at the bottom of the Scenarist Window, you can also enter the length the sub pic will be shown for.

Select your movie file and click the TV screen to preview, enter the time code of the Start of your sub image and set up the buttons as you would a menu.

You can also set up GPRMs to say return back to where you jumped into the new angle and start playing again from that point.

hope this helps.
