Update your anti virus and make the emergency boot disks. I had my trojan hooked onto a file, gone easily. Dum dum niece school kid running hers w/o firewall and antivirus activated and Windows won't even REINSTALL files are so corrupt. Gotta reformat.

I am glad I am old and DUM. I have an EXCUSE when I scew up!

Scan scan update

Update. I used my PC Cillin emergency disks on the Duron, virus on the Kazaa file (most likely in the RESTORE also). Also after trying to install/clean install Windows 15 times, the 256 meg mem strip bad! Try THAT combo.

The give-a-way was Windows blowing at different stages of installation (10%-100%) with FILE ERROR. I even found a "format" pgm and HD was 100% AOK.

I ain’t loading/updating everything again. I’ll do the drivers. I have my OWN viruses.
