I have pushed my P4 2.4Ghz to 73 Degrees and I was very close to freezing the PC. So I would say you have another 8-10 degrees more you can go (Depending on your Mobo).

Those temps seem way too hot to me. My new 2.4C is running at 3.2ghz and the temps under full load never goes over 42 Centigrade. At idle it's 30 c. I'm running a Vantec Aeroflow HSF on it. But even with the stock cooler, it never got over 50C at full load.

Temps up to 70 c is ok, but you will more than likely reduce your cpu lifetime drasticly(1\2 to 1\3 of expected).
Also with that high temps the rest of your components are probably sufforing too. Try fex checking your hdds temp.
