I just bought a lite-on dvd 163 and I was curious about the Roxio Video pack program. I want to copy dvd's to svcd to play on my computer. Has anyone tried this program? Any other suggestions on other programs or copying would be appreciated.

Hi bud.Welcome to the forum!I haven't tried it,but here it is just okay.Look at ChickenMan's tutorials for the best methods.Print them out for reference.They work great for me!;)

Roxie Video Pack makes a very average quality SVCD, not recommended if you want to make some quality rips.

As Woody said, have a look at the Tutorial on DVD to (S)VCD using DVD2AVI & TMPGEnc. Get TMPGEnc ver 2.53 normal or Pro and select 2 Pass VBR in Settings as well as Motion Search to Highest Quality. End result will be very nice indead.
