Roxio Creator 7 - Fault or Limitation?

Hello, Im new to this forum and have a problem with the above.

When in DVD builder I put background video/audio onto the project it will only last for between 15 and 30 seconds before recycling, irrespective of how long the video/audio clip is. I have been putting a 37 second combined video/audio clip onto a project and it keeps stopping short at about 30 seconds and starting again. Very annoying.

Can anyone assist?

Many thanks

Cheers, I think Im going to take it back and get a refund!

I was considering going for Ulead MF3 disc creator as I need AC3 support. Are there any other packages that do this that are not £Silly?

i use Roxio 6 and back up my dvd's using the Classic Creator format of that program. i use data cd format with Classic Creator and create my own VIDEO_TS folder manually then add all my video_ts files [via DVD Shrink or DVD Decryptor or watever] and within 30-40 minutes i have a complete backup that worx with my standalone DVD player in the living room. ROXIO \m/

Ulead MF3 disc creator as far as i can see when ive used it is also limited to 30seconds of playback of audio..because when the scene select clip loops so does the audio clip or music clip :(

The other prob ive found lately with MF3 is more often than not when creating the mini clip type scene selections is that when the disk is authored the scenes are not starting from the chosen or preset point that was marked by the chapters and are messed up or in the wrong order :(

I agree with chronicking, been using roxio 6 for almost 7 months now - very rare to find it hasn't done what I wanted.

BUT: each to their own.

ive been using roxio since like version 3. i use many other burning software as well but roxio really seems to be a good program since the late version 5 came out. i can alwayz resort back to roxio classic when nothing else works and it alwayz comes thru.......roxio \m/ not the best but worx

but older versions of roxio did have alot of clashes with other software but i think all those bugz have been worked out......don't know but like i said it will back up yor dvd's if you have the proper aspi layer installed and a functional cd/rw drive. didn't mean to start a debate
