ripping never completes

i have tried several times to rip using dvdstripper and it always just hangs. read speed will drop to 0.0 and it never recovers. i have ripped this same dvd before for testing with shrink and it worked fine. i am using dvddecryptor 3.1.7.0. if i use dvddecytptor by itself it works fine. any suggestions??

its fixed, it wasnt the software, it was my dvd rom..
