Req: Open DVD-file on Harddisk

Will it be possible in future releases to assing a Harddisk drive/Directory as source for DVDstripper?

I cannot say it will and I cannot say it won't :(, it's on the wanted list though along with a few others ;)

Use ImgTool to convert to image and mount with Daemon Tools then use DVDStripper. Works for me.

That's just a workaround which will take a lot of unnecesary time and Harddisk space. But you right, it will work....

I know it`s a round about way to solving the issue but at least there`s a way. I`m sure there will be an update to this great software soon that will help.

It doesn't really add that much time and zero hard disk space. With DVDDecrypter you can rip right to an .iso. Mount it then run dvdstripper as normal

That's what I do. You want to have the files on disk anyway so the image doesn't create any additional space and by ripping directly to Iso the only extra time involved is clicking 'Mount image'

No, not completely true. Somehow (don't ask met why :cool: ) I allready got the Decrypted Video files on Harddisk.

So I don't have to Rip them again....(I don't want to RIP my original again ;) )
