Req: Email list from a server

First of all, thanks for reading.

I had a program a while back (but I've lost it and never tried it), the program was for getting a list of emails from a server.

Basically it gives you a list of all the emails on the ISP's server.

This is what I'm after and would be grateful for any feedback, preferably 'freeware'

u can read emails on most email servers with yer own details and own account !! before downloading them using MAILWASHER and yes its freeware

I have and use Mail Washer, excellent program but maybe I worded the question badly.

What the program I'm looking for does is give you a list of the email addresses on a server, not the actual contents of the email.


For e.g.

I connect to an ISP called 'Freeserve'
I can download a list of all the email addresses they have on their server, not the actual contents of the emails.

So I would end up with a list of email addresses like this:

Dreemtheef@freeserve.co.uk
Viper@freeserve.co.uk
Cdrsoft@freeserve.co.uk
....etc...etc...

A friend of mine had a program like this and it allowed you to select different options such as how many email addresses to get, where to start, alphabetically....etc.

It is basically used for business use (or of course spam, not that I want it for spam mind you).
I had a copy but it's disappeared into the recycle bin ....lol.

hummm maby not a request you should be asking for here DREEMTHEEF .....HARVESTING or mass downloading of email addresses is not strictly a legal practice as it is associated with SPAMMERS and SPAM ?!

Oh well....maybe you're right Viper....I didn't think it was of a 'warezy' nature or I wouldn't have put a request on here, as I try to respect the forums new rules.

Anyway, I think I've found the prog I was after. Not sure if it's the same one but it seems to do the same job.

Out from the corner !!

Having spent the entire night standing in the corner, reflecting on my request.....I can now see the error of my ways in asking for a piece of software which, maybe immoral in the eyes of many but is however a perfectly legal request.

I will try to keep my requests not only legal but moral as well

I am now off to church to pray for forgiveness, in an attempt to save my soul
