Rempeg2 Problem

I'm trying to back up my xmen dvd.

I've stripped the VOB's with smartripper.

Stripped the streams and created the the cffl file with ifo edit.

scanned the resulting files with rempeg2

fed the numbers into dvdrcalc.

So far everything ok.

Now the problem is when I've fed everything into rempeg2 the resolution instead of 720x576 i'm given 6025x576.

I definately haven't gone wrong somewhere or missed anything out cos I've gone through the whole process twice and get the same result.

whilst I know I've had a few teething troubles in the past. the first time I tried this dvd about a week ago but I had the same result and since then I've backed up a couple of my other dvd's one of them was Gladiator and that went onto one dvd sweet as a nut and I can't really see any difference in picture quality and the sound is in synch. So as I say I definately haven't gone wrong somewhere.

Anybody got any ideas.

Thanx

Just use a Different method of Makeing the DVD...Trying encodeing it with CCE or Tmpgenc with DVD2AVI or somthing simular, Cuz it seems you regular method isn"t working this time..

sometimes guides can make things HARDER instead of easier. Very simple method when files are too big.
1. Demux to separate files .m2v (video) .ac3 (audio) I prefer DVDdecryptor for this.
2. Read the .m2v file RIGHT INTO REMPEG2. Works just fine. No CFFL file or that crap needed!
3. Re-encode. click a dvd resolution (720 x xxx) and "match source"
4. Author with Spruceup or whatever. You're in like flint now...

USE SMART RIPPER - THEN REDUCE THE SIZE OF THE M2V FILE TO BELOW 3.99 GIG - THEN USE SPRUCEUP MAKE SURE THE AC3 FILE AND THE NEW M2V FILE HAVE THE SAME NAME OR SPRUCE UP WILL NOT PICK UP THE AC3 FILE - TEST THE FILM IN SPRUCEUP BEFORE BURNING - TO REDUCE THE SIZE OF THE M2V FILE USE REMPEG - TICK THE LAST BOX DOWN RE PICTURE SIZE - THIS WILL TAKE ABOUT 8 HOURS IN TOTAL
