Sounds like I should be switching from jv16 to this going by what they are saying about it, I never did need the "bells & whistles" in jv16 anyways. :D

I tried it out bud, was even better at finding obsolete enties left over from old software installs, jv powertools never ever found them :) Cheers again m8 :)

It not free zver :(

I tried jv latest version & it didnt find any obsolete entires, i ran regsupreme & it found loads left over from software installs, i actually got rid of a meg of useless entires thanks to regsupreme :)

Hm that's strange this is what they say on the site

Yeah,thanks Laz.I`ve already got what looks to be a good registry cleaner built in to Tune Up Utilities 2003 though.But can this do more?

After cleaning the regedit with newest jv16,i run this proggy and found 80 mistakes..so i guess is not bad..in that extra deep mode.. :)

Probably there will soon be an updated jv16 powertools incorporating this update, or atleast thats the way it usually is :)

And the saga of the "freeware charlatan" continues....
The "last freeware version" of the predecessor JV tools 1.3 seems to have sneaky and undisclosed expiry!

As for Macecraft - who Jouni Vuorio is either associated with or sold out to, I wouldn't give them ANY business - such freeware turncoat behavior doesn't deserve any loyalty to the product.

Plenty of working "last freeware versions" manage to coexist alongside and serve as a useful taster for improved commercial ones.
