ReGet Deluxe

tried it a couple of times and found it a pain in the butt to be honest with it not accepting some links at all :(

I personally use Flashget and max out my ADSL using 10 threads for all my http downloads :)

Works Great :)

One of the most reliable downloaders out there... oddly enough one of the slowest too- on that issue it strongly resembles Mass Downloader which is surely very reliable, but very slow too. Actually it seems to be a coding problem, as most known downloaders just leech the wget code (unix commandline downloader, which is also ported in Windows). I can safely place my bets to either Flashget, or Net transport which is suspiciously similar to Flashget but using some "questionable" options like real audio streams downloading (not implemented in any commercial downloader for obvious reasons) and also having some very advanced features like https, changing split parts on the fly (just like flashget can do...) etc. Damn fast, also.
Reget offers the best Mozilla/Firebird integration (xul based extensions embedded in the main installer), but while I'm a Forebird dedicated follower I'd rather refer to use something else...

My previous-the free Star Downloader-mysteriously stopped working for some reason- it`s been OK for some time.I uninstalled it and installed Reget Deluxe Trial.Never tried it before. On the first download,I had to hold down the CTRL key to revert back to normal IE DL mode.Hope it`s not this bad all the time....

Yeah, seems Ok though doesn`t seem as fast as others I`ve tried.Seems quite reliable (except for the first time I tried it).
