Referrals (?)

I just went and checked out my own Profile a few minutes ago. I saw a line about half way down that said 'Referrals', and next to it a '0".

I was wondering..........what is this Referral thing about. I understand the definition of the word, but how does it reflect upon us here?

That is easy, you can refer people to this forum :)

is someones uses the link to browse the forum and signs up as user, you will get a referal :)
Mainly we do use this feature to see how many members are coming over from CDRSoft, as all the links from the main site to the forum contain my member id. So I already have a lot of referals, but that isn´t really important ...
So for all the other users, you may use it, but we do not but you in a special postion if you have more referals then another user ...
