Reducing size of DVD. I've read the faq's

Hello all:

I tried using DVDReasy, had problems. I found a site that showed test results using different burning software. InterVideo DVDCopy 2 was the winner for best quality and DVDShrink was next to last for quality. I purchased a copy of InterVideo DVD Copy2.

The Last Samurai is the moving I want to backup.

I got DVD Decrypter to rip the movie, then loaded up DvDcopy 2. Edited out what part I did not need. But, the movie is still to big to fit onto DVD.

I know I have to shrink the movie down to fit onto DVD, but if I used DVDshrink it will reduce the quality of the movie which is what I want to avoid.

I checked all the tutoriasl on here and nothing shows ( atleast not that I was able to comprehend ) how to shrink down the movie without using DVDshrink

So my question is, how do I shrink down the movie to fit onto DVD without using DVDshrink?

If there is a tutorial that shows this process using the software that I have I would appreciate you pointing this out to me.

Thanks

Mike

You use DVDCopy2, that is why you paid for it isn't it?
 REALLY

Well, seems that I had a bad install. I un-installed, then re-installed. Now everything is working just wonderfully :D

So thanks for the reply, it was very useful ;)

One tip with InterVideo products, if you want a true movie only, just rip the main movie files with DVDDecrypter.
