recordnow max probs help needed

i have in stalled recordnow max ver 4 i have a pioneer 105 but recordnow max wont show my dvdr as a writer it lets me read of it but selects my cdr as the writer the one thing i can say when i installed recordnow max it did not install the oyher software that it asked me if i wanted to install should i have done i no my dvdr is ok as it works with nero has any body had this problem and if so how did they fix it thanks
