RecordNow Max annoyance

I recently installed Stomp's RecordNow Max 4.10 and it works fine with one problem. Every time I start the program, the windows installer window comes up wanting to install the program, which is already running behind it. Is there a file in the main RecordNow directory that needs to be deleted? If it's a big deal, it's not that big of a problem to cancel the installer about a hlf dozen times before it gives up.

I had the same problem. It only happens if you move or delete the shortcut in your start menu. If you want to move it, you need to copy it to a new location, then go to the old shortcut, right click, go to properties and check hidden to make it go away. I hope this helps.

I guess that's what happened then. Too bad the old shortcut doesn't exist, because I just moved it into a new folder on the start menu. Any other ideas? (I hope!)

Yes, either put the shortcut back where it was, or just reinstall RecordNow Max. You don't have to uninstall first. Well, I think it might uninstall automatically. Worked for me.
