This is from RealOne site On how to get 320 kps recording
Why am I unable to encode MP3 clips above 96 Kbps even though this feature is supposed to be enabled under my RealOne subscription?
This document applies to:
- RealOne
- RealOne Player
If you installed RealOne Player over RealJukebox before downloading the 320K MP3 plug-in through the AutoUpdate feature in RealJukebox you will not be able to encode a MP3 file that is less than 10 seconds in length and is encoded at 44.1 kbps.
To fix the problem, uninstall RealOne Player, download and install the final release version of RealJukebox, update the the 320 MP3 plug-in, and reinstall RealOne Player.
1. Uninstall RealOne Player: click the Windows Start button, select Programs, select the Real folder, select RealOne Player, and choose Uninstall RealOne Player.
2. Go to My Account and download the final version of RealJukebox: My Account is located at h**ps://account.real.com/acct/login.html[/url] and contains downloads for the software you have purchased.
3. Install RealJukebox.
4. In RealJukebox, click the Help menu and choose Check for Update. The AutoUpdate dialog box appears; check the 320K MP3 plug-in from the list and download it.
5. Reinstall RealOne Player.
Note: This only applies to users who have RealJukebox 2 Plus and upgraded to the RealOne Player without first downloading the optimized 320K MP3 plug-in, or who were not using the latest build of RealJukebox prior to upgrading to RealOne Player.
So it meant leaving Realplayer on your Machine me I took it off first then loaded Realone
As Homer would say DOH
