Real problem with a DVD

I am trying to "back up" this dvd and it won't let me. I have tried DVDxCopy Xpress, ripping with Smartripper, Vstrip, and DVDdecryptor. It has problems when it gets to the VTS_01_2.VOB file. I also have a sony DV camcorder and a standalone DVD player. Will it be easier to play the dvd and send it to the CPU? Someone help, the easiest way will be better. I also have SonicmyDVD, Pinnacle Studio 8. Also, the DVD is on DVD-R media and my drive is DVD+R, but that should not explain that. Someone e-mail me with an answer Joker_6986@hotmail.com :'(

You dont need to rip with Smartripper, Vstrip or DVDdecryptor, just use Explorer and drag and drop the files to your HD. If they dont copy, then your original is faulty (even though your DVD Player may appear to play it correctly) or your reader cant read that type of media.

That's what happens, when i try to copy it to the hard drive it gives me crap. Cyclic redundancy some crap. so i am screwed or what? Is there no hope for a young man with small dreams of creating a bootlegg DVD Empire? When will my knight in shining armor appear? Oh Lancelot, where for art thou Lancelot? KNOW THYSELF!! お母さんを見なさい! 日本語!!

Try using IsoBuster to Extract the files off the original DVDR then, it has better CD/DVD reading than Windows does.
