Reading ISO

Hi guys, nice forum.Got a slight problem with my new Sony laptop.
If i put an iso file or an image file into the DVDRW, it just comes up blank.If i put into any other PC the ISO loads no prob.
I can even burn anything on the DVDRW and the image files works on any other PC.So it seems to be a reading problem.It can read SVCD's and DVD's no problem just not iso's or image files
Any idea's
BTW, running WINXP on a Prioneer DVDRW using alcohol 120

seems to be a simple incompatibility between the Sony and your chosen DVDRW media;
