Readin VCD with DVD

I have done a Videocd on a CD-R with nero 5.5.9.14 , it work with a DVD that accept CD R and CD RW.
My own DVD don't accept CD-R so ican't read it , but a friend give me an other Vcd on a CD-R, I can read it with my Own DVD.

How is it possible, how can i do the same????

Did you finalise the disk(not session)? Because if not it will not work and you do not give details of you VCD compilation. Also try practicing on RW until you master it.

Yes i finalise the disk.

Many DVD players can read from some brands of CDR while not able to from others. Also, if its written at a high speed (greater than 12x) then a good chance no DVD player can play them either.

Solution: Try differnd brand of CDR same as your friends and burn at a slower speed.
